Life after lockdown– what will it be like? Will we remember how to interact with people in real life? Will it take time to emerge from our cocoons again, will we remember how to get dressed up, and will we set fire to all our leggings and tracksuit pants!? Will life be more full of colour and gratitude than ever before? Will we remember to appreciate all the things we took for granted before 2020? What can we do to emerge from all of this as vibrantly as we can?
These are some of the questions we have been asking. Although 12 months in the grand scheme of things is a short amount of time, in other ways for many people, 12 months can be life changing. All of our lives have changed radically since March 2020; working from home, parenting from home, home-schooling, bubbles, pods, cocooning, socially distancing – all words which are new to many of us have changed how we see and interact with the world.
One big difference (apart from the knowledge of how to wash our hands properly and how to sneeze and cough into our elbow) is how we are all now more knowledgeable about the importance of good quality supplements and how vital they are for our bodies in building immunity, fighting inflammation, ensuring better sleep, boosting energy, for brighter skin and overall better health.
This lockdown, the third in Ireland, has been extremely difficult for so many people. The nation is tired, tired of not being able to embrace loved ones, tired of more missed family occasions both sad and celebratory and tired of having to do everything at once. It’s not sustainable in the long term and we will all need time and space to slowly emerge with full energy. Now is the time to start investing in that energy, to ensure your immunity and body is ready for life in the free world!
To ensure your body is at its best, you will need optimum levels of key nutrients. Supplements are just that, they are supplements to a balanced and nourished life and will give you that extra boost for better health. If you’re eating take-away every day, not getting enough sleep and plying your body with all the things we know aren’t healthy then no amount of supplements will set you right. If you’re doing the basics right then the next step is to ensure you are taking the best quality supplements.
Here’s how SOMEGA supplements will benefit you and have you ready for life after lockdown:
Liposomal Vitamin C:
Made using liposomal technology to ensure optimum Vitamin C absorption and maximum health benefit, our liposomal Vitamin C supports the normal function of the immune system, helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue, increases iron absorption and supports normal energy-yielding metabolism. It also helps to boost collagen formation for healthy skin, bones and teeth as well as supporting the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin D+K:
SOMEGA Vitamin D + K liquid supplements are an effective alternative to traditional tablets and capsules which depend on your digestive system for absorption. Our supplements are intra-orally absorbed, meaning they make use of the absorption potential of your mouth instead of having to rely solely on your digestive system. Vitamin D is needed for the normal function of the immune system while Vitamin D and Vitamin K both support the maintenance of normal bones.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, needed to build and maintain bone tissue, Vitamin K2 helps to direct the movement of calcium into bones. Vitamin K also supports heart health by preventing calcium build-up in arteries and contributes to normal blood clotting.
