This recipe takes only a few minutes, making it perfect for a sunny summer day or those chaotic school mornings!
2 tbsp porridge oats
80g soft fruit (use whatever you have or your child’s favourites – strawberries, blueberries and mango all work well)
1 tsp honey (optional)
2 tsp SOMEGA Easy Omega-3
Put all ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.
For a thicker, frosty smoothie, add a few ice-cubes and whizz again until crushed.
Pour into two glasses, enjoy and feel good!
The SOMEGA® Smoothie can be made creamier by replacing some milk with low-fat natural yogurt. Or to increase the protein content, add some low-fat Greek yogurt.
